Well, Shonegold, the gallery director for Pixel Art, and I have come to an irreconcilable disagreement over the definition of pixel art. By her definition, and the new rule she's applied to the gallery, my stuff doesn't qualify, despite the fact that I placed each pixel, one by one, myself. Understandably, I think, I'm a little upset at this. I, and other artists, have tried repeatedly to get her to understand why we are opposed to this rule, but it appears that she has her blinders on when it comes to the issue.

Normally when a site makes me this angry, I just leave. However, for once it's not the site administrators making the rule, it's just a gallery director. So I have decided to no longer post anything to Pixel Art.

Originally, before Nuriko talked some sense into me, I had planned to simply remove my pixel work from DA altogether. However, she has assured me that the Digital Art section probably won't mind what I view as an intentional, forced miscat, and I might get more views there anyhow. So I'll leave the dolls as they are (for the moment), since this new rule doesn't seem to apply to the Doll category, and move everything else into Digital Art.

I'm still a bit miffed, but this sounds like a solution I can live with. So, those of you who are watching can expect some new stuff from me in the next couple of weeks, as I've been working on lots of graphics for my game development class.
